The winner of Indian Idol 10 was declared in the show. Salman Ali won the show and Neha Kakkar and Vishal Dadlani announced the winner. Salman took home the trophy and the prize money of Rs. 25 lakhs. Team of Zero made an appearance on the show. Impressed by his performance, Shah Rukh Khan got Salman to sing ‘Sajda’ from his film, My Name is Khan and he lip-synced to the song. Salman has been a favourite since the beginning and is loved by the audience. He got 2 crore votes in the finale episode. He hails from Mewat in Haryana.

Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif loved all the performances of the contestants. Other finalists were Nitin Kumar, Ankush Bharadwaj, Neelanjana Ray and Vibhor Parashar. Ankush Bhardwaj and Neelanjana Ray were declared first and 2nd runners-up, respectively. Vibhor Parashar performed with Alka Yagnik to ‘Agar Tum Saath Ho’. Nitin sang with Suresh Wadkar to ‘Sapne Main Milti Hai and Ankush paid a tribute to Laxmikant-Pyarelal by crooning songs like ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Jumma Chumma’. Neelanjana performed with Bappi Lahiri to ‘Ooh La La’. Salman Ali performed with Javed Ali to ‘Nagada’ and ‘Tere Rashke Kamar’.

Indian Idol 10 was judged by Vishal Dadlani and Neha Kakkar. Anu Malik stepped down after being accused of sexual harassment. On the finale tonight, Vishal Dadlani crooned to Swag Se Swagat. Shilpa Shetty, Geeta Kapur and the team of Super Dancer 3 made an appearance on the show and Shilpa grooved to ‘Chura Ke Dil Mera’ with host Maniesh Paul.
